G - Asian Chicken Burger & Sesame Fries
This vibrant burger gets its Asian flavours from chicken simmered in soy sauce, sweet chilli mayo, shredded fresh cucumber for crunch, and fries tossed in nutty sesame seeds. Un-burger-lievable!

Step 2
Cut the potatoes (skins on) into thin fries then toss them in a bowl with 2 tbsp vegetable oil and a generous pinch of salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 240°C/ 220°C (fan)/ 475°F/ Gas 9
Step 4
Transfer the fries to a baking tray and put the tray in the oven for 20-30 min or until they're cooked through and crisp
Step 5
Heat a large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick with a matching lid), over a medium-high heat
Step 6
Once hot, add the chicken breast and cook for 3 min on each side or until golden
Step 7
Meanwhile, peel and finely chop (or grate) the garlic
Step 8
Add the soy sauce and chopped garlic to the pan with a couple of splashes of water and cook, covered for a further 10-15 min or until the chicken is cooked through (no pink meat!)

While the chicken is cooking, slice the cucumber into discs
Step 10
Slice each individual cucumber disc into matchsticks
Step 11
Trim, then slice the spring onion lengthways until you have thin strips
Step 12
Combine the mayonnaise and chilli sauce in a bowl – this is your chilli mayo
Step 13
Heat a separate, large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick) over a medium-high heat
Step 14
Once hot, add the brioche, cut-side down, and cook for 3 min or until toasted and charred, then set aside until serving
Step 15
Once the chicken is done, shred it apart in the pan, using two forks – this technique is known as ‘pulling’
Step 16
Once pulled, mix the shredded chicken into the pan juices
Step 17
To serve, spread the toasted brioche with chilli mayo and load with the cucumber matchsticks and spring onion strips, pulled chicken and fried onions
Step 18
Sprinkle the fries with your toasted sesame seeds and serve them with any remaining chilli mayo
