Step 1
Sift the powdered ingredients together in a bowl

Add the chocolate chips to the powder and stir until combined

In a separate bowl combine the wet ingredients

Add the dry to wet ingredients and stir till combined

Split into 12 cupcake cases

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 24 minutes or a cake tester comes out clean

Beat the softened butter with a mixer until lighter in colour and fluffy
Step 8
Add half the sugar and combine, starting slowly
Step 9
Add the other half of the sugar, again starting slowly
Step 10
Add the milk and combine
Step 11
Add the melted dark chocolate, make sure it isn't too hot otherwise it will melt the butter

Stir until completely combined, scraping down the sides as it goes

Pipe onto cupcakes and decorate
