fresh would work too, but would make the whole smoothie softer and less frosty, and the thick creamy smoothness of this smoothie is what makes it so wonderful peel and freeze mine in a bag specifically for use in smoothies
1 cupfrozen mango
i buy frozen cubed bags from costco because who wants to peel and attempt to cube a mango? not moi, i’m not made of money
½ cupplain yogurt
coconut milk would be a very delicious substitute if dairy isn’t your thing
½ cuppineapple juice
not chunks of pineapple - they’re stringy and yucky pineapple juice gives sweet pineapple flavour without the texture weirdness that will make my kids even less likely to drink the smoothie they begged me to make
