Step 1
In a large mixing blow, stir water, dry milk and yeast together and let stand for a minute or two to dissolve. Add butter, honey, salt and 3 cups flour. Beat vigorously for 2 full minutes. Add enough of the remaining flour to make dough manageable and not sticky. Knead with mixer if possible. Turn into a lightly greased bowl and let stand until double in size. Punch the dough down and divide into equal portions for bread bowls and place on cookie sheets. Cover and let rise. Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool. Alternate method: Form into 8 small loaves and place in greased loaf pans. Cover lightly and let rise to tops of pans. Bake as above or until bread sounds hollow when thumped. Bake 30-40 minutes.
