Slowcooker Teriyaki Pork with Rice & Garlic Lemon Broccoli

1 step
Prep:10minCook:4h
I spent all of 20 minutes in the kitchen for this recipe! Super easy. The slowcooker does most of the work. Slow cooked Asian teriyaki pork served with steamed jasmine rice and roasted garlic lemon broccoli. I use Epicure products for this recipe, but you can swap out for your own. I recommend picking up the ASIAN STIR FRY Seasoning, the and the SPG for this recipe. Also the STEAMER is an absolute must…you will enjoy using it for all types of recipes. It is oven and microwave safe. (Check it out at Pamelastone..epicure.com)

Instructions

Step 1
Place country style boneless pork ribs in slowcooker. Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and pepper to taste. Pour over pork in slowcooker, completely coat and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meat is cooked thru and falls apart. When pork is finished, turn slowcooker on warm. Use a steamer (Epicure) in your microwave to steam the jasmine rice. 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water. Cook in microwave 12 minutes with the lid off. Let rest in microwave for 5 minutes. On a small sheet pan, add the broccoli (rinse if needed) and coat with lemon extra virgin olive oil (or regular EVOO) and season with Salt-Pepper-Garlic Powder to taste. Roast in Oven at 375 for 20 minutes. Pull pork from slowcooker, allow to cool for 5 minutes. Chop into bite size pieces. Serve pork over broccoli and rice. And add 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite teriyaki sauce, if desired. We love Kikkomans. ENJOY!!
