1lemon juiced
¼ cupunsalted butter
⅓ cuplight brown sugar
¼ cupwhite sugar
1 ½ teaspoonscinnamon
½ teaspoonnutmeg
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
4 teaspoonscornstarch
4 teaspoonswater

Instructions
Step 1
Dice Apples into desired shapes. In a mixing bowl, toss Apples in Lemon Juice.

In a cooking pan on medium heat, add Butter and melt Butter. Next, add in Apples. Combine Brown Sugar, White Sugar, Cinnamon and Nutmeg, then add over top of the apple and combine. Then mix in vanilla extract. Bring apples to a simmer and et the apples simmer for about 5 minutes or until they become soft.

Reduce heat, combine Cornstarch & Water to form cornstarch slurry, then add into pan and continuously stir. Once apples are thicken, remove from heat and allow to cool.

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Slice Puff Pastry into desired pie shape. Place about ¼ Cup of Apples onto Puff Pastry and cover with Puff Pastry. Seal Apples and use a fork to crimp the edges.

Slice 3 slits on top of each individual pie. For egg wash, beat one egg, and brush the egg over top of Puff Pastry.
Step 7
For Cinnamon Sugar Coating mix cinnamon, sugar, & nutmeg then sprinkle over top of pies.
Step 8
Place pies on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until pies are browned and flakey.

For glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth then drizzle over top of pies. For glaze to harden, let pies cool down, then add glaze and let sit for a couple minutes and glaze will harden.
