0.5kgchicken breast
0.5kgchicken leg
1 tablespoongarlic ginger paste
½ teaspoonblack salt
1 tablespooncumin powder
1 tablespoonturmeric powder
1 tablespoonKashmiri chilli powder
1 tablespoonpaprika
1 tablespoongaram masala
1 tablespoonkasuri methi
dry fenugreek
1 tablespoonsalt
or to taste
3 tablespoonmustard oil
or olive oil
2 tablespoonyoghurt
fresh lemon juice
6cashew nuts
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the marinade and mix in chicken then set aside for at least one hour
Step 2
Soak six cashew nuts
Step 3
Cook the chicken
Step 4
Heat some and oil and butter on a pan
Step 5
Then cook chicken on medium heat for about three minutes on each side

Now for the sauce, on the same pan and on medium heat, add the oil then the whole spices

After about 30 seconds add the onions

Add some garlic ginger after about a minute

Add the salt

Get the onions soft

Add the spices, put on low heat

Add a dash of water to help cook spices

Make sure spices don't burn

Then add the tomatoes followed by tomato puree

Get the tomatoes soft, add sugar

Then add water followed by cashew nuts

Cook for around 10 mins

Put sauce aside and let it cool down

Blend the sauce and strain into a new pan or pot

Heat sauce then add cooked chicken

When sauce comes to a simmer crush kasuri methi and add along with butter

Once butter is melted in then add double cream

Mix cream in to finish off
