Instructions

Simple Syrup

Step 1
In a small sauce pot combine sugar and water and let it boil on high heat.

Once that boils mix gradually and add lemon and rose water and then let it sit for ten minutes.

Baklava

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 4
In a food processor crush your pistachios into small pieces and then put it in a small bowl and combine your orange blossom water and simple syrup.

In small bowl combine you butter and ghee and microwave and until blended.

In a cake pan brush on the butter mixture and add a layer of phyllo dough and then brush the butter on top of the dough add then add another layer of dough. Keep doing that until one box of phyllo dough is finished.

Add the layer of crushed pistachios and then keep add your layers of phyllo dough

Cut the access in the edges and then cut the baklava in columns and then diagonal.

Bake the Baklava’s for 45 minutes or until golden brown and then let it cool completely
