Instructions

Step 1
Braise onion until it starts to brown
Step 2
Add all the spices and once it starts to infuse, add mixed veg and peppers
Step 3
Add tomatoes and simmer until the gravy starts to thicken
Step 4
Add all the seafood, starting with the calamari, followed by the fish, then the prawns and cook on low heat until done
Step 5
Meanwhile, steam mussels separately in water seasoned with salt, pepper and fish spice for 10-15 minutes
Step 6
Boil rice with spice for rice, tumeric and salt separately until soft, without letting it get dry. Once the seafood is cooked, add the rice carefully, taking care not to let the fish break too much
Step 7
Add 1/2 cup of water and allow to simmer on low heat
Step 8
Lastly, add cooked mussels
Step 9
Garnish with fresh lemon and coriander
