Instructions
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, salt, and espresso (if using). Add grated butter and mix with fork til combined. In small bowl mix wet ingredients: yogurt, eggs, and vanilla.
Step 2
Add yogurt mixture to the dry ingredients along with the chocolate chips and mix with a fork until moistened. Next place onto well floured surface. Make well in center and 1/4 cup creamer/milk plus more still a little crumbly. Form into a block and then fold onto itself 10-12 times until the dough is smooth and cohesive.

Form into a 6 in circle and cut into 6 wedges. Place onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Brush with additional Tbsp of creamer/milk. Place in oven and cook for 15-17 min until browned on bottom.
Step 4
While scones cool slightly make the glaze by mixing powdered sugar with the additional cocoa powder and a few splashes of milk/creamer until drizzle consistency. Drizzle over top the scones and enjoy!
