¾ cupmargarine
1 csugar
1egg
0.25 Cmolasses
3.25 Coat flour
1 tspbaking soda
¼ teaspoonsalt
2 tspginger
1 tspcinnamon
½ tspcloves
0.5 Cgrape nuts

Instructions
Step 1
In a blender or food processor, grind 1/4 C grape nuts. Add to the 1/4 C sugar and set aside.

Beat together the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat until incorporated.
Step 3
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, spices and grape nuts.

Fold the sugar/butter mix into the dry ingredients. Pour molasses over the batter and mix well.
Step 5
Put the bowl into the fridge and let chill for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 7
Scoop out balls of dough with a large spoon. Place in the center 5 caramel bits and pinch the dough closed. Roll in your hands to make a ball.
Step 8
Dip the top of the balls into your grape nuts sugar and place on a lined baking sheet.

Bake for 12 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
