Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F

Step 1
Line baking sheet with parchement paper; set aside.
Step 2
Cream butter & sugars together until light & creamy. Add in egg, vanilla, & butter extract; mix until smooth.
Step 3
Gently mix in flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, & salt to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Step 4
Scoop out equally sized cookie dough balls, roll in balls, & place on the baking sheet; gently flatten to 1”- thick. Using chopstick, make the honey bun swirl indentations on each cookie.
Step 5
Bake (11-12 min.); cool on baking sheet (15-20 min.)

Honey-Butter Glaze

Step 6
While cookies are still in oven, melt butter, powdered sugar, honey, & milk extract in sm. saucepan over med.-low. Continuously stir mixture until sugar is fully dissolved. (Do not to boil butter sauce.)
Step 7
Remove pan from stovetop. Using pastry brush, brush each warm cookie with the butter sauce; let glaze set for a few minutes. Enjoy!
