Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 180C.
Step 2
Mix flour, sugar, oats and bicarbonate of soda in a large bowl.
Step 3
Put the butter and golden syrup into a pan and heat until melted. This step can be done in the microwave.
Step 4
Pour into the dry mixture, and then add the chocolate chunks.
Step 5
Divide the mixture into 20 and roughly roll into balls.
Step 6
Put them spaced evenly apart on 2 large baking trays, lined with baking parchment and squash them down a little.
Step 7
Bake for 15 - 18 minutes, but make sure to not overbake.
