My version is simple, yet so delicious that you will be asking yourself why you haven’t been eating broccoli or broccolini like this sooner. The spices of garlic, sumac, and lemon along with hints of salt & pepper give these veggies a big boost of flavor, alongside with a beautiful crispy texture. Simple, yet sophisticated, this is the best ever broccolini.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 with a large cast iron preheating also inside.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, add in your broccolini, and sprinkle all the spices, oil, and lemon juice over them. Toss them for 15-20 seconds with your hands until they are fully coated.
Step 3
Once your oven is preheated. Remove the hot cast iron, and toss in your prepped broccolini. If it’s a big pile of greens, that’s perfect because they will shrink in size as they roast.
Step 4
Roast your broccolini at 400 for 12-15 minutes. Check half way through and stir with tongs.
Step 5
Remove the broccolini once it is crispy and the edges are charred and golden brown. Add to a serving plate and enjoy immediately while still warm.
Step 6
Perfect by itself or serve as a side dish with your next meal!
