Instructions
Step 1
Heat a large sauce pan. Add the meat and stir every minute or so, making sure to break up any large pieces that may form. When the meat is halfway cooked (about medium), add in the onions and garlic to the meat and continue cooking until tender and transparent. Do not strain out any fat that may form on the top.
Step 2
Combine the beef base and tomato paste with the warm water. Using a wire whisk, mix until fully incorporated. Add the mixture to the pot and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Add all of the seasonings. Turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Add the beans and tomatoes. Simmer for 1 minute. Remove from the heat.
