Instructions

Step 1
In a large skillet, cook the beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Add taco seasoning. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Stir in black beans and tomatoes. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Mix in Rice and diced green chilis.
Step 2
Press one tube crescent rolls to cover the bottom of a lightly greased 13" x 9" baking pan. Layer 1/2 beef/rice mixture and 1/2 shredded cheese, then repeat.
Step 3
Arrange remaining package of crescent rolls on top bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
