Instructions
Step 1
Season roast with salt and pepper or preferred beef or steak seasoning.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in pan or skillet over medium high heat until shimmering. Sear all sides of roast for 2-3 minutes each or until browned and crusted.
Step 3
Place roast at bottom of crock pot. Season top with minced onion and ranch and au jus packets. Cut butter into pieces and place all over top. Place pepperoncinis on top. Pour pepperoncini juice around roast.
Step 4
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours until fork tender.
Step 5
Shred meat with forks and mix thoroughly, keeping pepperoncinis in mix. Serve with mashed potatoes or white rice.
