Instructions
Step 1
Cook the onions and mince together in a pan on medium heat until the mince is brown
Step 2
Drain off all of the fat from the pan, into a tub in the sink with the hot tap running
Step 3
Fill the pan with water until it just covers the mince, NO more than this
Step 4
Put the pearl barley and the oxo cube, then bring to the boil and simmer for 30 mins or until the pearl barley is soft
Step 5
Make you stir the mince every 5 mins
Step 6
Mix together the gravy powder and cornflour in a mug
Step 7
Add a little bit of water to the mug and mix this all together
Step 8
Chuck it into the pan with the mince and stir quickly to thicken, the serve
