Kimchi Butter Udon

Instructions

Step 1
In a pan over medium low heat, sauté the garlic in butter until fragrant (~1 min).
Step 2
Add in the chopped kimchi + kimchi juice. Kimchi juice is the liquid that is released from the kimchi making process. There is usually a lot in your kimchi container!
Step 3
Add in the gochujang and honey.
Step 4
Cook over medium heat for 5 mins.
Step 5
Add in your udon noodles. Mine came frozen so I just thawed them in some water before adding it to my sauce. You don’t need to boil them beforehand because they’re precooked and will heat up quickly in the sauce.
Step 6
Stir fry the noodles in the sauce for 5 mins.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8
Garnish with green onions and enjoy!
