Start with caramelizing the onions because that takes the most time. Heat 1/2 tbsp of butter in a skillet over medium until melted. Meanwhile, slice your white onion into thin pieces. Add them into the skillet and stir. They will shrink. Cook for 2 minutes until they turn translucent. Then reduce to low and let it cook for another 15-20 minutes until golden

After you flip the burger, add a slice of brie to the cooked side of the burger. Also add the buns to the top rack to toast. Close the grill and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, so the cheese can melt
