For the chicken
800gchicken
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tsppepper
1 tsppaprika powder
1 tspsalt
30gcornflour
50mlsoy sauce
50mlwater
30ghoney
1 tspgochujang paste
For the salad
0.5cucumber
sliced
20mlsoy sauce
10mlrice vinegar
½ tspchili flakes
optional
1 tspgarlic powder
1 Tbspsesame seeds
For the side dish
Instructions
Step 1
The chili-flakes and gochujang paste are pretty spicy. You can use them to taste!
Step 2
In a skillet, cook chicken for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Step 3
In the same pan, pour in the soy sauce, honey and gochujang. Bring to a simmer and reduce. The sauce should thicken.
Step 4
Add the reserved chicken to the sauce and stir until coated and the sauce holds to the chicken.
Step 5
For the salad, combine cucumber slices, garlic powder, soy sauce, vinegar and sesame seeds. Mix well.
Step 6
Dress the chicken, side dish of your choice and salad. You're ready to eat, bon appétit!
