½ cupunsalted butter
2garlic cloves
minced
2 cupshalf & half
1 ½ cupgrated parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoonground black pepper
¼ teaspoonsalt

Step 1
Prepare fettuccini according to package directions
Shrimp
Step 2
Place the butter in a large skillet and turn heat to medium. Add minced garlic and let butter melt. When the butter has completely melted, toss in the shrimp. Saute the shrimp for 2 minutes or until just cooked. Remove shrimp from skillet and place in covered bowl.
Sauce
Step 3
In a medium sauce pan over medium heat melt butter. Add garlic, cream, pepper and salt.
Step 4
Bring to a low boil and reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 8 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and slowly add Parmesan.
Step 6
Return to stove on low and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 7
Toss all ingredients together, serve hot.
