Instructions
Step 1
Turn on your smoker and drink half of the can of beer
Step 2
While the smoker heats up, wash and dry your chicken. then rub with seasoning of choice. I use webers beer can chicken seasoning.
Step 3
Cover the head hole with tin foil so beer doesn't escape. I just make a tin foil clump and plug it. Doesn't need to be perfect.
Step 4
Put the half full can of beer- any beer will do - up the chickens butt and place in your smoker standing up. during cooking the beer will bubble up and keep your chicken moist.
Step 5
Check it every once in a while. It's done when meat thermometer says 165.
