Marilyn’s Oven BBQ Chicken

Easy BBQ chicken thighs. Juicy, tender and got raves from my hubby. First made July 6, 2021.
Begin marinating 3 days before you want to serve. Depending on appetites, this recipe will serve between 4-8 people. My hubby and I are full with just one thigh and an ear of corn on the cob, but we are retired senior citizens.

Ingredients

Marinade
0.25 bottleConcord Grape Wine
BBQ Sauce
½ cupketchup
3 dropsHot Sauce
or to taste
3 dashesWorcestershire Sauce
or to taste
½ cupwater
wine
that the chicken was marinating in
1 envelopeonion soup mix

Instructions
Step 1
Mix marinade ingredients in a jumbo-sized resealable plastic zip lock bag. Add chicken thighs. Turn the bag over. Turn the bag upside down, etc. Make sure the marinade coats all the pieces of chicken. Turn the bag over at least twice a day.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 3
Let chicken come to room temperature a half hour before you begin cooking it.
Step 4
Put chicken in a single layer in a roasting pan or 9x13 pan. I use a disposable roasting pan. Let it cook for about an hour, basting every 20 minutes with leftover marinade. Take out of oven and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Eat and enjoy!
