Instructions
Step 1
Dice garlic and ginger, chop fresh red Thai chili and scallion into small pieces.
Step 2
Wash woodear mushroom (tear big pieces into smaller bites as needed) and put in boiling water to cook for 5-10 minutes until fully cooked. Simply transfer from heat and soak in iced water for a few minutes before plating.
Step 3
Add olive oil in a heated skillet on medium heat, simply put diced garlic and ginger, red chili to mix until aroma comes out. Further add in light soy sauce, dark vinegar, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil and sesame seeds to mix for a minute. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Top cold woodear mushroom with chili sauce and scallion. Serve cold.
