This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I like putting a variety of add-ins to create a fun, flavor-packed cookie.

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 2
Combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Cream the butter and sugars together in a large mixer bowl on medium speed until light in color and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Add the eggs and mix until well combined.
Step 5
Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
Step 6
Add the dry ingredients and mix until mostly combined.
Step 7
Fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. Dough will be thick and a little sticky.
Step 8
Use a cookie scoop or a 1/4 measuring cup to scoop dough onto lined baking sheet. Bake 9-12 minutes, depending on how big your cookies are. Remove just as the edges begin to turn golden.
Step 9
Allow to cool on baking sheets for 4-5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
