1 cupPinot noir
14 ozdiced tomatoes
with water
4eggplant
large, cut short way, circles
4Idaho potatoes

Instructions
Step 1
Sauté onions in olive oil
Step 2
Add garlic, sauté
Step 3
Add ground beef. Cook until no longer pink
Step 4
Add tomato paste, mix and cook for 3 minutes
Step 5
Add wine. Cook on high heat until wine is reduced
Step 6
Add can of diced tomato
Step 7
Add cinnamon, salt, pepper. Cook for another 15min. Reduce as needed.
Set aside when done

Cut eggplant horizontally (circle shape). Season eggplant slices with salt, pepper, olive oil. Bake on baking sheet until tender

Cut potatoes vertically/long way. Season with salt. Fry in oil until crispy and golden

Oil sides of all clad oval baking pan. Arrangement: potatoes, eggplant, meat mixture, eggplant, béchamel. Top with nutmeg and mizitra
Béchamel
Step 11
Combine milk and 3 pouches
Step 12
Once thickened add salt, pepper, nutmeg and mizitra. Mix
Step 13
Pour on top. Spread evenly. Sprinkle some nutmeg and mizitra on top
Step 14
Add slices of butter on top
Step 15
Bake at 415 (or more if taking too long) for 1 hour
