Instructions
Step 1
Place tomatoes slices on paper towel or in a colander to drain. Sprinkle with kosher salt. Let set for 45 minutes.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350, and pre bake pie shell of 10 minutes. Prick bottom and sides so crust won't poof up.
Step 3
Mix the mayo, cheese, garlic, pepper, and basil thoroughly.
Step 4
Pat tomatoes with dry with paper towels. Fill pie shell 2/3 full. Top with cheese mixture. Spread to edge of crust to seal.
Step 5
Bake pie at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes, until top is golden brown and bubbling.
