Instructions
Step 1
Day one: wash and bake potatoes and fry the bacon. Store in refrigerator for day 2.
Step 2
Day two: Peel and cube potatoes. Crumble bacon. Dice green onions.
Step 3
In a large pot melt the butter. Stir in flour; heat until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring consistently until thickened. Add potatoes and onions. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add remaining ingredients; stir until cheese is melted. Serve immediately. (Bacon can be mixed in or left out as a garnish)
