Is this very spicy? I really want to make it but I am bad with spicy food so I am a bit scared of trying. If so, would lowering the amount of chili ruin the recipe? Thank you :)

It is a bit spicy, you could leave out the chili, or better yet use a mild chili like an Anaheim pepper, or maybe even a Bell pepper?
