Phenomenal recipe! So easy to get it right. I made the dough ahead of time and when I had time, I rolled it out and cut. You do need to wait 15-20 minutes to roll or it gets crumbly. My counter is made of epoxy, so I didn’t even need to add flour to roll the cookies! Every cookies came out perfect, including the frosting, which was easy to make. I used one recipe of frosting to two recipes of cookies. In the end, I needed just a little bit more frosting, so I made a third of a batch and it still came out perfect! My go-to recipe for sugar cookies probably for forever! Also, it tastes delicious without icing too! My husband kept finding “imperfect ones” he had to eat because they weren’t good for the neighbors. “This one is too round, or too yellow, or too idk tasty.”
