Easy Sugar Cookies & Sugar Cookie Frosting

If you don't use frosting, these might not be sweet enough. Recipe was pretty easy, kids enjoyed decorating their cookies. Keep an eye on them while they cook - they can brown really quickly

i made the 40 servings recipe but it came out to be about 25 cookies. after chilling the dough it was really crumbly so i had to just roll them into balls. overall the cookie was chewy and crispy and had a nice flavor.

Finally a sugar cookie that did what it was supposed to! I wish it made a bigger batch, but I'm very happy with them

Phenomenal recipe! So easy to get it right. I made the dough ahead of time and when I had time, I rolled it out and cut. You do need to wait 15-20 minutes to roll or it gets crumbly. My counter is made of epoxy, so I didn’t even need to add flour to roll the cookies! Every cookies came out perfect, including the frosting, which was easy to make. I used one recipe of frosting to two recipes of cookies. In the end, I needed just a little bit more frosting, so I made a third of a batch and it still came out perfect! My go-to recipe for sugar cookies probably for forever! Also, it tastes delicious without icing too! My husband kept finding “imperfect ones” he had to eat because they weren’t good for the neighbors. “This one is too round, or too yellow, or too idk tasty.”

This was my first time baking sugar cookies, and I think they turned out pretty good! The recipe was easy to follow, and the little tips were awesome to have.

Cannot vouch for the frosting, but this is my forever sugar cookie recipe. I added 1/4 tsp of almond extract for more complex flavor, chilled the cut cookies in the fridge before baking. They didn't spread and were soft, chewy, and delicious.

These came out great! Really easy in the stand mixer.

I just used the receipe for the dough and didn't make the frosting. We always decorated with colored sugar as a kid so that's what I wanted to do with mine ☺️. The dough came out great. They're delicious!
