I measured my flour using a scale. Then, I added the other dry ingredients and sifted.
I used 1/4 cup melted butter into the mix and 1/4 cup on top. I will try it without the butter on top next to see the difference.
It has a tasty buttery crust and tender crumb inside...but definitely has a taste of beer
