This was such a pleasant surprise! So delicious! Crispy outside, warm and yummy creamy filling inside. Goes perfect with a simple dip made of Greek yoghurt, chives and a pinch of salt and pepper, maybe some garlic too if you’re feeling extra. :)
The dish looks so appealing and is so versatile - breakfast, brunch, late dinner, finger food, snack, appetizer… I would recommend it for sure!
Few tips:
- cut the dough to about 7 cm rather than 5, 5 seems a little too small to work with
- use cooking spray to coat the dough with the oil, especially if you want to make them less greasy and you want to cut on the fat, it’s easier, creates less mess and they will not turn out greasy at all!
- I added more mushrooms in, and I am happy I did
- I also used real garlic instead of the granules, and I am happy I did :)
- you might need 2 baking sheets, I made the amount for 4 and I had a full sheet
- you will probably not need the full package of the phyllo
