Complicated by requiring a "sourdough starter" that needs to be prepared two days in advance, with a hard-to-buy commercial sourdough culture.
Was NOT at all sweet and despite including canned pumpkin as an ingredient it had weak-to-no pumpkin flavor.
Admittedly I deviated from the recipe out of circumstance, and my product could be lackluster for this reason but from what I've seen most pumpkin bread recipes want at least a cup of sugar. This one only called for the quarter of that.
'Much prefer the pumpkin bread recipe that came with the bread machine I used (the DAK Turbo Baker II). It did taste sweet and a little pumpkiny and was certainly less of a hassle to bake.
