This reminded me a lot of something I use to make called "fried spaghetti".
I will be the first to admit, I almost never follow a recipe exact, unless baking.
We had a small head of cabbage, made probably 3 cups chopped. I used a lot of butter (a little over half a stick) I added it at every step. I didn't take the cabbage out, I just added the noodle (pre-boiled 4 mins) and peas, tossed around a bit then put the sausage in and tossed around. I also added McCormick's Roasted Garlic & Herb. I found it to be delicious and it didn't make a ton probably enough for 4 to 6, depending on portion size. It also had a perfect balance of all the ingredients.
