Instructions

Step 1
Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Reserve some of the pasta cooking water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2
Sauté onions briefly (2 minutes) over medium-high heat, then add tomato paste and chopped tomatoes. Cook briefly (1 minute).
Step 3
Add pasta water, cream and spices and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and season to taste.
Step 4
Return to a low heat, add the cooked pasta and cheese and stir until the cheese is incorporated.
