Step 1
In a large bowl mix the all purpose flour, a pinch of salt and the baking powder. If you sift it beforehand the mixture will be even finer. Then make a volcano with the mixture and leave a hole in the center.

In the hollow of the volcano, add the lard (you can replace it with vegetable oil) and begin to mix. As you're integrating these ingredients, add water little by little, until you form a dough with enough consistency to form a soft ball

Step 3
Let the dough rest for a few minutes and form small balls of the size you want. Roll them with a Rollin pin until you create a sheet of your desired thickness.

Once you have all your tortillas created take a comal or a pan and put it on the stove to heat, you can drop a few drops of oil or butter for cooking your tortillas. When hot cook your tortillas on both sides one at a time. ENJOY
