Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat

Add red bell pepper and minced garlic

Cook until bell pepper softens a bit

Add washed rice and toast for 1-2 minutes
Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a high simmer
Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes
Uncover and add frozen peas and steak

Turn off heat and cover. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to cook peas
