Instructions

Step 1
Grease 18” x 13” cookie sheet
Step 2
Beat butter with mixer for 3 minutes until creamy. Add sugar and extracts, beat for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add flour and cornstarch to butter mixture just until blended.
Step 3
Pat mixture into the greased cookie sheet.
Step 4
Bake at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes, until the shortbread begins to turn a light golden color.
Step 5
Remove from oven and dust with sugar. Slice with a sharp knife and poke with fork tines while it is hot. Cool on a rack and serve.
