Spicy Miso Udon
Spicy Miso Udon đ Thicc and chewy noodles coated in a savoury, spicy and slightly sweet sauce⊠whoâs in?!
Ingredients
2x servings of udon noodles *
1.5 tbsp white miso paste
2 tbsp hot water
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice wine vinegar
Splash of dark soy sauce, for colour
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
2-3 tsp your fav chilli oil/crisp
Garnish
Toasted sesame seeds
Green onion
Fried shallots
Method:
1. Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook your udon according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the miso and hot water until it forms a paste. Add in the remaining source ingredients and whisk well to combine.
3. How do you noodles into the bowl and mix well to coat. Transfer into a bowl, garnish and enjoy!
*Note: You can purchase either shelf stable or frozen udon, simply follow the cooking times on the packet. The last time I uploaded an udon recipe I found out that a lot of yall in fact hate udon đ„Č Soo.. if you donât like udon, simply substitute with a different noodle!
