Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350f/180c
Step 2
Place the rolled oats into a food processor and process until it is mostly ground up, it should end up with a flour consistency. Though you can leave it a little less processed if you want. If you don't have a good processor, a blender will work too
Step 3
In a bowl, mix together the applesauce, processed oats and peanut butter. It should be a thick and somewhat difficult to stir mixture. If it is too wet, add 1-2 tbsp of Wholewheat flour, until you get the right consistency
Step 4
Once it's mixed together, take a small spoon or small cookie scoop, of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place the applesauce oatmeal ball onto a cookie sheet that is lined with parchment paper and flatten with a fork. It should be about 1/4 inch thick.
Step 5
Bake for 20-25 minutes. The longer they bake, the drier and crispier, they will get
Step 6
Place on a wire rack to cool
