Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and line an 8x4 loaf tin with parchment paper.
Step 2
Brown 1/2 cup of butter: Melt in a saucepan over medium low heat until butter is golden and browned milk solids appear on the bottom of the pan. Transfer butter to a small bowl and let cool for 10 min.
Step 3
In a large bowl, fully mash 3 bananas.
Step 4
Mix in browned butter and whisk.
Step 5
Mix in sour cream, 1 beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
Step 6
Whisk in sugar and brown sugar.
Step 7
Gently fold in baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour.
Step 8
Add in chocolate chips if desired.
Step 9
Pour batter into an 8x4 loaf tin and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
Step 10
Let cool, slice, and enjoy!
