Instructions
Step 1
Make brown butter: Melt 3/4 cups butter in a small pot over medium heat. Stir constantly until butter is brown colored and toasted (around 10 min).
Step 2
Once butter is cooled, add to a bowl and mix with brown sugar and sugar.
Step 3
Mix in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt.
Step 5
Mix in caramel pieces and chocolate chips.
Step 6
Put dough in fridge to chill and preheat oven to 350.
Step 7
Once oven is preheated, remove dough from fridge and add 1.5 tbsp sized dough balls onto a lined baking sheet.
Step 8
Bake at 359 for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
