Step 1
Preheat oven to 350

Butter a small oven safe dish
Step 3
Cook pasta until it is al dente (tender). It will cook more as it bakes.
Step 4
Drain pasta and add butter while it is still hot. Stir until butter is melted.
Step 5
Add the half and half, only HALF of the cheddar and Monterey jack, the egg, salt, pepper, and velveeta. Stir together mixing well.
Step 6
Pour into buttered dish and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese
Step 7
Bake for about 20 minutes
