Ingredients

500gchicken breast
sliced into strips
1 ½ Tbspsesame oil
1 Tbspgarlic
minced
2 Tbspginger
minced
½ cupchicken stock
liquid
¼ cupkecap manis
sweet soy sauce
¼ cupsweet chilli sauce
low sugar
1 Tbsplow salt soy sauce
1 Tbspcornflour
mixed with 1tbsp water to slurry
440gthin egg noodles
shelf ready
1 cupbean sprouts
2green spring onion
sliced
fried shallots
crispy
green shallots
sliced, to garnish
Ground Chilli
to taste
Peanuts
Crushed, to serve
Instructions
Step 1
Using searing slow cooker (or fry pan) briefly sear chicken with sesame oil, ginger and garlic until lightly seared
Step 2
If using fry pan return to slow cooker now
Step 3
Add chicken stock, both soy sauces, and sweet chilli sauce
Step 4
Slow cook on low for 2.5-3hrs
Step 5
Add cornflour slurry to thicken sauce then add raw noodles and slow cook additional 10 mins to heat through
Step 6
Add raw shallots and bean sprouts, and chilli. Heat through for 5 minutes, then serve
Step 7
Garnish with crispy fried shallots and green shallots
