Step 1
The first step to making these Nando’s style chicken wings is to split your chicken into drumsticks and flats. I had help whilst I was doing mine so I advise you to read or watch instructions on how to do so and be careful! The chicken wings I had were from Aldi and was only £1.99 for 1KG which made roughly 12 flats and 12 drumsticks which is an amazing price!
Step 2
Next we are going to add our herby goodness (Yay!). Start by putting your chicken into a bowl and add in your lemon and herb rub. Evenly distribute the Nando’s rub on the chicken. When this is done, it is time to add the Nandos lemon and herb marinade (I ended up using the whole bottle!). Your going to evenly distribute this onto the chicken aswell. This step is optional but I added 1-2 tablespoons spoons of corn flour in to give it extra crispiness.
Step 3
Lastly, you are going to pop them in the air fryer for 20 minutes on 180. When it reaches 10 minutes make sure you turn them over and put them on again for another 10. If u have any Nando’s marinade left you can drizzle some over the top to keep the wings moist. Pair with Tender-stem broccoli and rice or potatoes. This is the most delicious and versatile dinner ever and you won’t be left disappointed!
