This ramen broth is a great and healthy way to use up those old chicken bones . Very easy to make and much better for you than the flavor packets that normally come with ramen .

Step 1
Once you strip the meat off the chicken add the bones to a crock pot with carrot onion star anise ginger garlic Chinese five spice and a good pinch of salt . Cover with water ( roughly 4-5 cups ) then slow cook on high temp for 4 hours .

Step 2
Once cooked strain the liquid into a pot to get out the bones and large bits . You can store this in the fridge for 3 days or use straight away on your fav ramen . Heat it up add light soy white pepper toasted sesame oil and some honey and coriander . Check the seasoning and add spice if you like then serve over your ramen and enjoy .
