Step 1
Make flax egg by combining water and flax Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Melt vegan butter Whisk butter and sugars together Add flax egg and vanilla and whisk Sift flour and cocoa - add salt and baking powder - stir with large wooden spoon Do not over mix Fold in half the chocolate chips Pour batter into baking dish and then top with remaining chips Bake for 35-40 mins - they may be bubbling and not look done but they will firm up a lot as they cool Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan for 15 - then remove from pan and continue to let cool
