Instructions

Step 1
Process 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves, ½ cup each grated Parmesan cheese and olive oil, ⅓ cup pine nuts, ¼ cup each chopped green onions and packed fresh dill, 3 Tbsp. each capers and lemon juice, 1½ tsp. lemon zest, 2 cloves smashed garlic, and ¼ tsp. each salt and black pepper in a food processor until nearly smooth.

(Chill in an airtight container up to 1 week; freeze up to 3 months.) Toss about ¼ cup pesto with 2 cups cooked pasta.
